Project Detail

The objective was to design a series of promotional materials for an upcoming local event for 2021. Freeze Frame International Film Festival for Kids of All Ages was chosen for this project.

My Concept

The concept is built upon the game of building blocks. By applying basic shapes as building blocks, different sceneries can be assembled. This solution fits well with the objective of the festival: to encourage children and youth to use their creativity and explore new ways of filmmaking. A split-complementary colour palette symbolizes the fun, creative, and playful atmosphere of the festival. Azo sans is used to neutralize the design while keeping it friendly and pleasant.
